As the Global Process Manager in Central Procurement Excellence, you will act as a strategic partner and subject matter expert. The Munich RE Global Procure-to-Pay Operations Team is responsible for standardizing and automating global procurement processes end-to-end. Our main objective is to deliver best-in-class source-to-contract and procure-to-pay processes using the Coupa software platform. Currently, we serve over 50 business units and more than 7,000 active Coupa users across North America, Europe, as well as the Asia-Pacific region.
Our key goal is to reduce complexity and automate processes from requisition to purchase order in collaboration with category management, requisitioners, and accounts payable. Hence, we are looking for a Global Process Manager who can foster collaboration, drive global standardization initiatives, and lead international projects that enhance the level of automation of CP’s operations, e.g., through AI. The Global Process Manager is also responsible for managing external service providers to ensure smooth transactional business.

Your Job
- Implement a global supplier enablement, onboarding, and information management strategy with Global Sourcing, Third Party Risk Management, General Accounting, and other stakeholders
- Manage and implement local, regional, and global standardization projects (e.g., Coupa rollouts) regarding supplier enablement, onboarding, and maintenance
- Increase supplier adoption and improve the user experience regarding supplier onboarding and maintenance through simplification and automation
- Identify and address opportunities and process weaknesses, and implement improvements to reduce complexity with the P2P community
- Ensure pragmatic and innovative process solutions while complying with applicable guidelines
- Maintain global Supplier Master Data in Coupa, ensuring high-quality, up-to-date data in Coupa SIM
- Conduct various legal compliance checks on suppliers (e.g., sanction check, financial stability check, ESG, etc.)
- Train suppliers on processes for purchase orders, contracts, receipts, catalogue updates, and invoicing, and communicate process changes and updates in CSP
Your Profile
- Master's degree in business administration, economics, or a related field
- 3+ years of professional experience in similar functions (e.g., consulting background with a focus on procurement process improvement, transformation, and excellence)
- Demonstrated expertise in procurement methodologies such as sourcing, category management, supplier management, and contract management
- Excellent project management experience, including the ability to plan, execute, and manage multiple projects within scope, budget, and timeline
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and solution-oriented skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a collaborative team environment
- Capable of motivating and inspiring employees to respond to changing business and organizational needs
- A positive self-starter who can proactively tackle problems with innovative solutions
- High reliability, integrity, initiative, and commitment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in German and English, with a willingness to work in an international environment
- Willingness to travel and/or work virtually in different time zones
