Our agriculture team is responsible for business written in Europe and Latin America. Our scope includes the reinsurance of existing agribusiness as well as helping our clients grow their business and manage their challenges in a changing environment. Agriculture is directly affected by the prevailing global trends such as climate change and digitalisation. We made it our mission to explore new ways of combining insurance products with data-driven, high-tech solutions. Our ambition is to steadily grow by developing insurance solutions together with our clients for the farming sector throughout Europe and Latin America.
Your Job
- Deep Dive into Historical Data: Analyze and evaluate historical bordereaux for a major Mexican client, mainly using Excel or advanced data processing tools
- Comprehensive Accumulation Analysis: Support our internal risk management with both historical and current accumulation analysis for the Argentinean market
- Clear and Insightful Reporting: Transform complex data into clear, understandable reports that drive decision-making.
- Collaborative Data Excellence: Work closely with internal teams to ensure top-notch data quality and consistency.
Your Profile
- Student (m/f/d) in Business Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Agricultural Engineering or a related field,
- Excel Pro: Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, particularly in functions, PivotTables, and data analysis tools. Knowledge of R, SQL, or similar tools for analyzing and processing large datasets is a plus.
- Data-Savvy: Basic understanding of data analysis and statistics is advantageous.
- Independent and pragmatic: Self-motivated and detail-oriented approach to tasks.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in both German and English, verbal and written. Spanish is a bonus but not required.
- Short-Term Availability: Available for a temporary position (approximately 6 months). Students from countries outside the EU require a German residence-/work permit. The first master's degree may not have been completed before/during the entire internship.
