Description: 

The Data and Analytics division is Munich Re's hub for Data, Analytics and AI. It drives Munich Re’s Data and AI strategy, is responsible for the key enablers data, skills, governance and technology, and coordinates Data, Analytics and AI projects to create value for our core business. The Central Analytics department drives strategic initiatives in Data Analytics & AI, enables business & central functions through training and technology, supports Data Analytics & AI (use cases), and further develops the Insurance Analytics Platform that provides scalable Data Analytics & AI solutions according to the needs of our core business functions.

The AI Governance and Strategy section is responsible for the tasks of AI adoption and AI enablement, supports the further development of the AI strategy, owns the Data & AI Academy, for the RI and Specialty Group, and acts as a 1st line function for AI Governance.

This role focuses on advising and practicing change in the age of AI. The individual will work with peers and leadership to enable the organization and hence foster AI adoption inline with Ambition 2030 - developing change interventions and impactful experiences for critical roles, functions, and moments that matter - as data & AI transforms how work is done across Munich Re. The individual will also support the further development and implementation of the AI strategy.

Your Job

  • Supports the further development and implementation of the AI strategy enabling Ambition 2030
  • Supports the design, implementation, rollout of the Data & AI Academy2.0, including conducting trainings and reporting of success metrics of AI adoption
  • Organizes or co-organize internal awareness, change and activation events and sessions for users, e.g. AI townhalls and AI in action day
  • Supports the management of the global Data Analytics & AI community including the organization of knowledge sharing sessions and exchanges for developers, the organization of the biannual Data & AI conference
  • Supports the establishment and management of the AI champion community
  • Develops executive-ready change and activation artifacts (e.g., presentations, frameworks, guidance) and uses data and storytelling to influence decisions and align stakeholders
  • Synthesizes learnings, gaps, and feedback from internal experiences to inform enablement, change recommendations, and future-state ways of working
  • Collaborates with adjacent teams in AI enablement related matters in order to achieve most efficient value-add
  • Provides advisory to colleagues on AI enablement related matters
  • Defines success measures and performance metrics, recommending course corrections, and connecting outcomes to business impact for AI enablement initiatives and measures

Your Profile

  • University degree in data science, statistics, stochastics, information technology, or an equivalent area of studies
  • Professional experience in change management of processes, designing and conducting trainings
  • Professional experience in (strategy) consulting
  • Know-How about AI agents, GenAI, Machine Learning and Data Analytics approaches and applications in (re)insurance
  • Experience in organizing events is a plus
  • Project experience in a complex stakeholder environment; knowledge of the concrete Munich Re context is a plus
  • Self-responsible, proactive working style, service and consulting orientation, agile flexible mindset, ability to prioritize according to management expectations
  • Excellent command of English; knowledge of German is a plus
