Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and strategic learning and development professional to join our Corporate Talent Development team. Your main responsibility will be to lead and evolve Hydrogen, Munich Re’s Top Talent program, which is part of our broader Talent Academy portfolio. You will have support from a dedicated team member to help execute program operations and ensure smooth delivery.

Hydrogen is designed for Experienced Managers (people leaders) and Senior Experts (thought leaders) who are already managing complex assignments with a high degree of independence. The program targets high-performing, globally minded leaders who consistently demonstrate the aspiration for broader leadership impact, act as cultural ambassadors, and embody the values and leadership competencies of Munich Re.

Through access to stretch assignments, strategic networking, executive mentoring, and targeted learning, Hydrogen accelerates top talent’s development and enables participants to increase their impact on Munich Re’s culture and business performance.

Hydrogen is now entering an exciting new phase. In line with the upcoming launch of our new Leadership Framework, Leadership Academy, and the consolidation of our top talent programs under the Talent Academy umbrella, Hydrogen will undergo a strategic redesign. The goal is to create a distinct yet fully complementary development journey within this unified talent ecosystem.

We are seeking a candidate with deep expertise in learning and development, a strong strategic mindset, and the ability to continuously evolve the participant experience to meet emerging business and talent needs.

You will need exceptional stakeholder management skills — including at Board of Management level — to influence, align, and embed the program within a dynamic, complex, and globally connected organization.

If you're passionate about shaping the future of leadership at Munich Re and want to help grow our global talent pipeline, this opportunity could be right for you.
