This position is a fixed-term maternity leave cover for approximately 4.5 months, from mid-July to early December 2026. Based in Seoul, Korea, this role reports to the Korea HR Lead and plays a key role in ensuring continuity of payroll and benefits, HR services, HR data analytics, local reporting, and administrative operations.
 
Your Role
  • Manage the monthly payroll process, including HR payroll data management, in collaboration with external payroll vendors.
  • Ensure effective administration of benefit programmes, including group-term insurance, retirement pension schemes, and other employee benefits.
  • Review HR uploads and employee income tax reporting and filing requirements in cooperation with the payroll vendor, and provide relevant information to Accounting.
  • Manage and review tax filings, income tax settlements, and payroll accounting coordination with the payroll vendor and Accounting.
  • Support and prepare for financial closing, including payroll data reconciliation for annual financial audits, where applicable.
  • Manage leave and working time compliance in line with local regulatory requirements.
  • Execute statutory reporting and social insurance administration in accordance with Korean regulations.
  • Prepare various HR reports required for internal and external stakeholders (quarterly and annually).
  • Support AskHR platform operations and contribute to HR Services initiatives and global process improvement projects.
  • Support and manage logistics for employee engagement activities.
  • Organise and document mandatory training sessions in coordination with training vendors.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Support recruitment processes, including interview scheduling, contract preparation, and background checks with vendors.
  • Manage and support work visa and relocation needs in coordination with, or independently of, the Global Mobility team, as applicable.

Your Profile

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on compensation, payroll, HR services, and HR administration. Experience in a global organisation is an advantage.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in payroll processing, tax reporting, and compensation and benefits administration (mandatory).
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Strong numerical skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Well organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with SuccessFactors (HRIS) is an advantage.
  • Demonstrates strong initiative and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Fluency in Korean and English (written and spoken).
