*This role will need to be in person with key stakeholders and clients with regularity. For these reasons, the preferred locations for this role are areas near the NYC, Princeton, Hartford or Toronto offices. Remote locations can be considered for highly qualified candidates however the ability to visit key locations as stated above is important.

As our business continues to successfully expand and grow, the need to attract and acquire top actuarial talent is critical to driving the business. The candidate who takes on this role will focus on attracting and recruiting actuarial talent for life & health as well as property and casualty roles in both the US and Canada. The Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner will work with each business unit to understand strategic direction and talent needs ultimately designing and executing on talent acquisition campaign strategy.
Responsibilities
- Assess actuarial talent needs for the business units assigned
- Drive strategic direction of talent acquisition efforts by sourcing, recruiting, interviewing and making offers to candidates for open roles and/or pipelining for the future
- Subject matter expert in actuarial recruiting for North America
- Build strong talent pipelines for both Life & Health actuaries as well as Property and Casualty actuaries
- Represent company at career fairs, events, etc. where applicable
- Build strategic talent networks
- Work with HR Business Partners to provide recommendations for compensation
- Other responsibilities or focus areas outside of actuarial may be assigned depending on need
- Utilize Applicant Tracking System (SAP)
Qualifications
Successful candidates will possess the following skills/capabilities:
- 5+ years progressive talent acquisition experience
- Subject matter expert with recruiting actuaries
- Experience recruiting across North America is a plus
- Experience recruiting in the New York, New Jersey, Connecticut tri-state area, as well as Toronto, actuarial market preferred
- Ability to drive strategic direction of talent acquisition efforts
- Ability to contribute to process improvements and efficiencies in Talent Acquisition
The Company is open to considering candidates in various locations. The salary range posted below applies to those Company locations.
The base salary range anticipated for this position is $85,000 to $140,000 plus opportunity for company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay.
The salary estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for candidates hired in this position but is dependent on location of hire. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the range.
