About the Role
The Sales Support Analyst helps drive the success of the Business Development team by supporting territory management, training, data analysis, reporting, and various business development projects. This role is ideal for individuals seeking foundational experience and future career growth in territory management.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze business processes and data to support business development initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.
• Support training and reporting initiatives.
• Partner with internal departments—including Underwriting, Operations, and IT—to ensure seamless coordination and execution of projects.
• Own projects that contribute to the growth of the Sales, Distribution & Marketing team.
• Build and deploy external-facing training to support intermediaries, including onboarding and product/system enhancements.
• Obtain and analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to distribution leaders. Prepare standard analyses such as market reviews, rate and contribution analyses, and financial/contractual comparisons.
• Lead or participate in business development projects, serve as a CRM subject matter expert, and create presentations.
• Activate business development support initiatives across Primary and Surplus lines, including incentives, document creation, and conference support.
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Five years of professional experience in the Property & Casualty or Surplus Line industries.
• Previous experience in data reporting.
• High proficiency in organization and project management.
• Training and design expertise.
• Strong data and analytics capabilities.
• Excellent organizational skills.
