Title:  Guidewire Jutro Developer (Digital Front-End)

The Role

The Application Developer – Guidewire Jutro will be a critical member of our Digital development team, focused on building and maintaining customer-facing applications using Guidewire’s Jutro framework. This front-end framework, built on React, enables us to deliver seamless, modern experiences to agents, customers, and internal users. The developer will collaborate closely with designers, back-end teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital applications aligned with strategic business goals.

This role requires strong front-end development skills, experience in Guidewire Digital products, and a keen eye for user interface design and performance optimization. The developer will primarily support our Guidewire Digital portals (Customer, Agent) and contribute to broader integration with PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter. H-1B sponsorship is available if needed.

1. Functions

• Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performance UIs using Guidewire Jutro (React-based framework).
• Collaborate with UX designers, product owners, and back-end developers to deliver full-stack digital solutions.
• Build and maintain reusable Jutro components, ensuring consistency with enterprise design systems.
• Participate in solution design, including technical architecture, integration patterns, and security compliance.
• Ensure high-quality code through reviews, test automation, and CI/CD practices.
• Support digital product rollouts, enhancements, and incident resolution.
• Mentor junior developers and support ongoing improvements in coding standards and development processes.

2. Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of experience
• ence in front-end or full-stack software development
• 2+ years working with Guidewire Digital applications (e.g., CustomerEngage, ProducerEngage)
• Hands-on experience with Guidewire Jutro framework
• Proficiency in React.js, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and REST APIs
• Experience integrating with Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter
• Experience with Guidewire Cloud platform and edge APIs is preferred
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and modern source control tools

3. Preferred Skills

• Strong understanding of component-based architecture and state management
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially in Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of accessibility, responsive design, and browser compatibility
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Exposure to microservices, API gateways (e.g., Azure APIM), and cloud-native architectures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile team environment with evolving requirements
