AVP Eng & IoT Accounting Operations

Directs end-to-end accounting operations associated with HSB IoT and Engineering segment ERP systems; includes PeopleSoft Projects, Contracts, Billing, A/R, Lotus Notes T&E system, Microsoft Dynamics and other systems as applicable.  Directs the design and coordination of financial and operational reports.  For assigned product lines, works directly with engineering management to develop the annual business plan, evaluation and analysis of contracts and analysis of new business initiatives and opportunities, reviews contracts and implements proper billing and revenue recognition processes in compliance with corporate policy and professional accounting standards, communicates results, trends, variances, forecast and recommendations to management .  Manages and reviews other month-end activities such as expense accruals and allocations.  Participates in other special projects as required.  

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience is required
• CPA Certificate is preferred
• 10+ years accounting experience  

Knowledge and Skills 

• Strong technical accounting skills
• Strong computer skills
• Experience with PeopleSoft General Ledger Software
• Strong PC skills (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
