Purpose:
The purpose of this position is two-fold. The first purpose is to work closely with the Regional Field Sales Team by driving profitable growth, providing comprehensive new account onboarding support, performing initial prospect qualification activities, and driving business transformation initiatives. Assist company retention efforts by managing and facilitating book moves, mergers, and acquisitions across the American Modern organization. Project management activities to support field sales initiatives (e.g., targeted blitz’s, marketing campaigns, account clean up, etc.).
The second purpose of this role is to manage owned accounts in the “unassigned” category towards profitable growth with the goal of moving the account to the Regional Field Sales Team. Along with the Unassigned accounts, this position will also monitor “runoff” accounts for profit management.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Contributor to company retention efforts by managing and facilitating book moves, mergers, and acquisitions across the American Modern organization.
- Project management activities to support regional initiatives (e.g., targeted blitz’s, marketing campaign support, account clean up, process improvement initiatives, etc.).
- Providing oversight and account management activities for “owned” accounts, responding to inquiries, developing business case for additional product/state authorities, terminating accounts where appropriate.
- Maintain required agent contact based on account segmentation methodology.
- Provide comprehensive new account onboarding support.
- Works closely with account owners to reinforce mutual commitments and deliver expected results.
- Travel and participate in periodic visits to key accounts, regional meetings and onboarding new key accounts.
- Develops partner relationships with new and existing key accounts.
- Proactively work with owned accounts selling American Modern's products and services to increase profitable growth.
- Driving business transformation in support of Yellowstone, Project Watch, and other organization initiatives.
- Perform initial prospect qualification activities and take appropriate action or recommend for new set up.
Perform other ancillary duties such as:
- Manage user access to prevent multiple users logging in on the same ID.
- System Error Recovery notifications – Facilitate notification to the Sales team so they communicate to their respective accounts as they deem appropriate.
- Weather Moratorium - Facilitate notification to the Sales team so they communicate to their respective accounts as they deem appropriate.
- As time permits, facilitate address changes for commission return mail for active accounts.
- Agent reporting for agents without access to the reporting portal.
Required Technical Skills
Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite of products, with a specific focus on Excel skills, and other computer applications, including SharePoint. Knowledge and increasing skill level of corporate reporting tools, such as Cognos, and Microsoft Power BI, staying up to date with technological advancements. Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
