You will be part of Munich Re’s Global Payroll team, sitting within APAC MEA region. This role will manage the end-to-end payroll operations for Greater China, ensuring compliance, seamless payroll administration and addressing employee enquiries. Reporting to the Head of Payroll, APAC MEA, you will also collaborate closely with the functional HR team, HR Services, and HR IT, to ensure we meet the business deliverables.

Role Profile
- Manage payroll operations for Greater China, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance with the relevant standards.
- Oversee the end-to-end payroll cycle and payroll-related work, ensuring compliance with the local labour laws, tax regulations and corporate governance policies.
- Address and manage employee inquiries on payroll, ensuring timely responses and issue resolution when required.
- Maintain accurate employee records and responsible for data maintenance & accuracy in the payroll system.
- Strong collaboration and partnership with the functional Regional & Global HR team, Finance team, ensuring alignment with the business needs and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Assist to drive payroll automation and process improvements, leveraging technology to enhance effectiveness and accuracy.
- Manage relationships with service providers, ensuring service quality and compliance.
- Provide ongoing support and assistance for payroll project-related activities as needed.
- Continuous support for the Regional & Global Payroll team as required from time-to-time.
Your Profile
- Strong payroll background, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience managing high quality payroll processes.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Accounting or relevant discipline.
- Highly analytical, with excellent attention to detail and sound understanding of all facets of HR operations.
- Strong understanding of the compliance requirements for the Greater China region.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and advanced MS Excell skills.
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin.
- Past experience with Global Payroll transformation would be advantageous.
