Munich Reinsurance Company Beijing Branch, part of Munich Re, the world’s largest reinsurer, is looking for an intern with a background in accounting, finance, economics or insurance to join our General Accounting & Finance team in China.

While most of the work is expected to be full-time and onsite, we offer some flexibility to accommodate your academic commitments. 

 

We are looking for an Intern that can commit from February 2026 onwards for a 3-month period, preferably working at least 4 days per week. 

 

 

 

Your Role

 

  • Prepare data for bank journal entries
  • Assist with invoice issuance
  • Organize and archive project files
  • Support data preparation for local regulatory reporting
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned

 

 

 

Your Profile

 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Insurance
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in analytics tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and accountable
