The TD&L Specialist is integral role to help us support and deliver our strategic agenda across the region as well as partner with colleagues in the wider HR function (both regionally and globally). The TD&L function collaborates closely with key partners across a range of different businesses to help drive and support their business strategies. We actively coordinate our key talent within the region and provide opportunities and career development initiatives for employees, manage programs and training events, including logistics, and participate in talent identification, talent tracking and administration of talent programs.

 

Responsibilities          

 

  • 50/50 support across HSB entity and regional talent needs
  • Partners with TD&L Partner to conduct needs analysis to determine appropriate instructional design methods, content of training and media. Conducts research to gain a detailed understanding of project requirements.
  • Facilitates live instructor-led classroom and virtual training sessions, in accordance with adult learning principles and classroom / platform management best practices.
  • Ensures alignment of training programs with other Talent Development & Learning systems and initiatives, including talent programs, career development initiatives and succession planning programs.
  • Manages logistics associated with the planning and delivery of TD&L programs, sessions and events.
  • Runs day to day operations associated with TD&L programs such as talent, coaching, etc., to include participation in vendor selection process.
  • Work with Regional Program Manager to support accelerated development programs.
  • Manage processing of tuition assistance, certification, designation, and certificate programs for employees.
  • Partner with TD&L Partner to support entity specific initiatives and deliver strategic leadership and employee development programs.
  • Maintain and support internal intranet pages; ensure they are kept up to date, accurate and relevant. 
  • Supporting regional and local orientation initiatives. Facilitation, updating, and coordinating across the region.
  • Regional/Global Projects – contribute to regional or global projects where relevant.

 

Qualifications

 

Successful candidates will possess the following skills/capabilities:       

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field with a minimum of 3  years of related experience. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills required. 
  • Top notch customer service skills and facilitations skills.
  • Instructional design skills a plus. 
  • Technical ability to work at a high level in systems and software required (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc). 
  • Strong influence skills.

 

The Company is open to considering candidates in numerous locations, including Amelia (OH), Hartford (CT), and Princeton (NJ). The salary range posted below reflects market variations across various locations. The offer will be adjusted per geography.

 

The base salary range anticipated for this position is $73,500 - $107,800, plus opportunity for company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay.  In addition, the company makes available a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO). 

 

The salary estimate is adjusted to reflect the varying market conditions across different locations, with the with the higher end being more aligned with the Princeton, NJ job market. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the range.
