American Modern Insurance Group is seeking a Licensing Analyst to join our Producer Management team. Our Producer Management team is dedicated to delivering exceptional agent experiences and optimizing our operational footprint through automation, digitalization, data analytics, and process engineering. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Licensing Analyst to join our team.
As a Licensing Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the lifecycle management of our contracted business partners (agencies and producers). You will be responsible for ensuring business partners and their agents are properly licensed and appointed to sell insurance products where authorized on behalf of one or more underwriting companies. This role involves analyzing and validating licensing information, maintaining accurate records, and communicating with producers and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Directly support the administrative needs of the agent lifecycle process, including contracting, onboarding, account maintenance, and terminations/offboarding
- Understand and apply evolving agent licensing and appointment compliance requirements as well as administering state and product authority
- Adhere to detailed internal processes and quality controls, and demonstrate knowledge of systems and specific account requirements
- Actively support daily administrative request processing, report generation, and team projects
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external partners via phone, live chat, email, and data entry.
- Respond to partner requests in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications:
- At least one year of prior business or customer service experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Industry training, coursework, or certifications (e.g., AINS, P&C licensed agent) a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to understand complex processes and lead or organize projects
