Title:  Liability Claims Supervisor

American Modern Insurance Group is seeking a Claims Supervisor for our Casualty Division department.  As a Liability Claims Supervisor, you will be responsible for the supervision and management of a team of Liability Claim Adjuster's and Specialists tasked with the investigation and resolution of non- litigated third party property damage and bodily injury claims, as well as Uninsured Motorist claims.

Responsibilities:

• Supervision of the activities of a team of liability adjusters and specialists.
• Oversees the application of coverage, investigation, and disposition of insurance claims for personal lines premises and recreational products.
• Oversees the administrative aspects of direct reports, including technical and associate development, and the operational efficiency of the unit.
• Manage risk and compliance for the unit.
• Participation in Department or Division projects or initiatives.  

Qualifications:

• 7 years multi-line liability claims handling experience.
• 1-2 years as a file reviewer/examiner, claim supervisor, or other experience working with others providing technical file handling and direction is preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization and planning abilities.
• Outstanding leadership and motivational skills.
• Exceptional problems solving skills.
